Although IPS display panel is not known for their low response time, most IPS gaming monitors have a response time of 4ms and therefore does not cause significant problems for numerous games. However, a ghosting problem will be suffered while playing fast shooters or racing games. There are also some IPS gaming monitors with a response speed of 1ms or 2ms as the development isn’t standing still.
